What does the report cover?

What a recruiter is likely to take from your resume, what comes through clearly, and where they’d need more detail. Every card quotes the line it is about, says what a recruiter can’t tell from it, and gives an example with blanks only you can fill. Add a job posting, and the report reads your resume against that role too.

How is this different from ATS keyword tools?

Keyword tools count matches. The report reads for what you did and what changed because of it. It quotes the line behind every note and asks for the facts that are missing, instead of handing you a keyword score. The systems employers use don’t score keywords either: the software pulls your text into fields, and automatic rejection runs on application questions, not on a match score.

Does a person read my resume?

No. A recruiter with 15 years in hiring wrote the review criteria, and AI applies them to your resume. Nobody reads individual reports, so check every suggested edit against what you actually did. That check matters: in one experiment, an algorithm’s recommendation swayed recruiters even when they said they trusted it less than a person.

What file formats are supported?

PDF and Word documents (.docx), up to 4 MB. If we can’t read the file, paste the resume text instead. Formatting doesn’t matter; we only need the words.

Privacy and security

What happens to uploaded resume data?

We don't store the raw resume or job description from an anonymous run. A completed anonymous report output can be recovered in the same browser for up to 24 hours, then expires automatically. Sign in to save it to history; saved reports and your account can be deleted at any time.

Is my data used to train public models?

No. We do not opt your data into model training, and OpenAI API data is not used to train OpenAI models by default. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs containing customer content for up to 30 days.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual reports from Reports. In Settings, you can export your account data or delete your account entirely.

Pricing and billing

Is the first report really free?

Yes, and nothing in it is held back. Your first complete report is free. No card required. Anonymous use is limited to one free report per calendar month. Repeat use across browsers or shared networks can affect eligibility. Daily capacity limits apply.

What is the Job Search Pass?

One $29 payment for five more complete reports. Use them to check a revision or read your resume against a job. The pass expires 90 days after purchase and never renews automatically. PDF export isn't part of the pass: any signed-in report can download as a PDF.

What happens after I use all five reports?

You can keep opening your saved reports and downloading their PDFs; that comes with signing in, not with the pass. Another report requires a new pass or available free access.

How do I restore access and get receipts?

Open Restore access and sign in with the email you used at checkout. You can restore your pass and view receipts there, or in Settings > Billing. If you still need help, contact support with your checkout email and purchase date.

Can I get a refund?

You can request a full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase if you have not used any paid reports. We also review duplicate charges, processing errors, and cases where the service failed. Contact support from your checkout email with the purchase date and receipt ID. See Terms of Service for the full refund policy.

Didn’t find it? Write to a person.

Email support@recruiterinyourpocket.com with what you were trying to do and what happened. A screenshot helps; remove personal details first, and don't send your resume unless we ask for it.

For sign-in, a purchase or a refund, include the email you used at checkout and the purchase date. We will never ask for your password or your full card number.
